The Internet of Things is bringing local connections together through wireless devices. Beacons and wireless profiles are the key to real-time local discovery.
UbiNames UbiNames (Ubiquitous Names) provides its users with wireless profiles that virtually attach to devices like smartphones and wearables. These profiles contain the public demographics and interests of their owners. Our technology recognizes the demographics and interests related to the devices near our beacon-enabled TV monitors and displays information or calls-to-action to passersby.
UbiChat Ubinames provides an application called UbiChat. When enabled on a user's phone, UbiChat causes other devices to automatically respond to certain conditions, causing the interaction to be recorded and displayed on a TV monitor. UbiChat also allows users to chat anonymously amongst themselves and launch applications related to the TV monitor.
VENUES Suitable, high-traffic venues include stadiums, malls, shopping districts, bars, clubs, restaurants, conferences, events, concerts, airports, buildings, even parking lots.
SHOPPING Our web-enabled TV monitors react to the contents of nearby peoples' wireless profiles and render related content and community-specific messages. Our software intelligently matches the interests of nearby shoppers with offers from local merchants. For example, if female shoppers are interested in shoes, a relevant shoe offer may appear and direct them to the shoe store. These responsive monitors react in real-time as people pass by.
ANONYMOUS GAME RESULTS Nearby users can play online games with each other or participate in trivia contests and quizzes. The results are constantly fed in real-time for display on a leaderboard on the associated TV monitor. For example, a bar can conduct a pub quiz among it patrons and display results on a big screen. A stadium can have a contest for its fans with results displayed on the big screen. An entire classroom can play a math game with progress shown on the teacher's computer monitor.
POLLS, SURVEYS & RATINGS Conduct surveys with nearby people and have the voting results shown on the screen. For example, a mall may request passersby to rate fashions from the UbiChat app on their cell phones. A stadium can poll fans for MVP and provide a chance to win a prize. Have people post selfies or other photographs and let others vote on their favorites.
FESTIVALS & EVENTS Let the fan base select songs from a play list. Ask participants questions and display the results. Conduct polls on the venue and event. Reward random users with a prize and all players with a coupon.
AMUSEMENT PARKS With patrons waiting in long lines, distract them with game play and display ongoing game status on-screen. Reward players with discount food coupons.
GUESSING GAMES Appeal to shoppers' curiosity by asking them to guess "What's Behind the Curtain?". In this game, players are asked to select from a set of choices and rewarded with coupons for winning. A bar could play a "Dating Game" asking patrons to match interests with avatars.
INTERACTIVE GAMES Ask people to play a game on the screen. The game is sent to their smartphone. Show scores a leaderboard and reward random players with coupons for playing. Games include word games, math games, quizzes, bingo and more.

A coupon for the selected deal will be sent to their cell phone when the deal is finally ratified. Voting results are displayed immediately to allow others to try to alter the deal.
